Zug, Switzerland, Oct. 26, 2018 – ODEM, creator of the On-Demand Education Marketplace, is pleased to announce the formation of a collaborative relationship with Diligent Plans, an established provider of leadership training and educational experiences.

El Paso, Texas-based Diligent Plans will become an early adopter of the ODEM Platform, a global education portal, to market its suite of motivational programs directly to students and corporate clients, said Richard Maaghul, ODEM’s Chief Executive Officer. ODEM will use blockchain technology to grant digital certificates to students who complete Diligent Plans courses offered on the Platform.

“I have worked with Kris Yagel, Diligent Plans’ President, for several years, and appreciate his innovative and high-quality leadership programs,” Maaghul said. “Through my past company Excelorators, his programs were among the most sought-after courses for students and executives. I look forward to continuing our work with Diligent Plans.”

Yagel, a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and his team of seasoned leader developers are excited to be among the first to use ODEM and blockchain technology to organize and deliver leadership training. ODEM is awarding blockchain certificates to 39 recent graduates of an Excelorators Executive Leadership program taught on the West Point campus by Diligent Plans’ instructors.

“Diligent Plans offers unique leadership programs based in part on the very principles West Point employs to successfully teach generations of military officers who dedicate a lifetime of service across a multitude of endeavors,” Yagel said. “We’re excited about expanding our program offerings to reach students and executives in Asia, Europe, and the U.S. through the ODEM Platform. Diligent Plans has a long history of working with the ODEM team; we look forward to building on this relationship.”

ODEM is developing the Platform to use blockchain technology to streamline the organization and delivery of academic programs and experiences. The Platform empowers students to customize their education through interaction with educators and service providers. Committed to making education more accessible, affordable, transferable, and verifiable, ODEM plans to roll out the Platform in February 2019.
